A Birmingham Registry Office Wedding.

This is the wedding of Tina & Joe who were married at the Birmingham Registry Office and later celebrated their wedding at Anderson's, Mary Ann Street, just off St Paul's Square, Birmingham.

Their ceremony was a wonderfully happy time for both of them and after photographing a number of weddings over the years, I have never seen a couple so very happy to be getting married.

Their wedding was very low key with only immediate family invited. They later celebrated their wedding in France.

A Birmingham Registry Office Wedding continued...

Tina and Joe had their wedding at Birmingham Registry Office which is now a purpose-built building on Holliday Street in Birmingham City Centre.

The interior is suitably formal with one of the Civil Ceremony rooms nicely lit with a backdrop of glass cubes. The Registry Office has a fabulous outside space for photographs, but it is also just a stone's throw from Birmingham Canal Old Line & Holliday Wharf and if you give yourself a bit of time before moving on, there are some wonderful locations for wedding photographs.

Their meal was at Andersons, Mary Ann Street, just off St Pauls Square, so before heading to the venue, we took the chance to have some photographs beneath the wonderful church that is St Pauls Church, a Grade I listed building, built between 1776/1779.

It would appear that Andersons hasn't survived the Covid crisis and the website for the business suggests they are permanently closed.
