This is the wedding of Rebecca and Lee at St Cuthbert's Parish Church, Shustoke & later on at Shustoke Barns in 2015.
St Cuthberts Parish Church, Shustoke.
This church was built from about 1307 to 1327. However, the church you see today probably bears little resemblance to the one built in the early 1300s. The church was extensively restored in 1872, but it is said that the Victorians who restored it, gave little sympathy to the existing building. In 1886 the tower was hit by lightning and the interior was reduced to charred timbers and ashes. The Church has been re-built and in 1961 it was designated a Grade II* listing (Grade II*: particularly important buildings of more than special interest).
I have spoken about Shustoke Farm Barns before and we were lucky enough to photograph the Wedding Breakfast and evening event here again for Rebecca and Lee.
As previously mentioned, this wedding was in 2015 and there have been some additions to the outside space at Shustoke Barns since these pictures were taken.
